Fluorocarbon Destruction System

  • Fluorocarbon Destruction System
  • Combustion and melting technology
  • Absorption and adsorption technology

Applications of the system are extensive, which include Freon recovery/destruction method for highly efficient destructions of fluoride-containing waste liquid, exhaust gas by-products such as CFC and HCFC, and various fluorocarbons such as HFC, PFC, SF?, and NF?, and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) recommended by the United Nations.

・This system, which was developed based on the fluorine compound collection and destruction law introduced in Japan in 2002, can decompose fluorocarbons (CFCs, HCFCs and HFCs), PFCs and SF6. Fluorocarbons are one of the causes of ozone layer depletion and global warming. This system has been developed based on our Sub-Com system and acid resistant materials selection know-how, and possesses a decomposition efficiency of 99.99% for HFCs, PFCs and SF6.
This system is accredited by the United Nations for use in CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) projects in accordance with the Kyoto protocol for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
