When waste liquids consist of volatile organic compounds, evaporation concentration systems cannot be used because concentrated vapor condensates
contain almost exclusively organic compounds from waste liquids. In these cases we apply air stripping concentration systems. Volatile organic compounds in
waste liquids are stripped using combustion air. Then, in the stripping tower, water is vaporized with volatile organic compounds and fed to the incinerator. In this way, due to the use of quenched combustion gas to heat waste liquids, waste heat can be recycled leading to reductions in fuel consumption.
